What is Milestone XProtect?
Milestone XProtect is software that brings your CCTV cameras, recordings and alarms together in one place. Operators get a single interface for live viewing, searching recorded footage and responding to incidents, on desktop and mobile devices.
Because XProtect is an open platform, it works with cameras and devices from many manufacturers and can be extended with analytics and AI as your needs develop. It suits small, medium-sized and multi-site businesses, from one building to a spread of sites managed centrally.
Monitoring and response
Video is only useful if the right people see it at the right time, so we set up users, views and alarm notifications before we hand over.
Desktop and mobile access
View live and recorded video from any connected camera on desktop and mobile devices, with alarm notifications on the desktop and on Smart Map.
Linked to your other systems
XProtect can take events from sensors and other systems, and gives instant access to any connected camera or sensor. Ask us about linking it to your access control.
Not every site needs an on-premises VMS. For smaller or dispersed sites, Milestone Arcules (formerly Milestone Kite), the cloud video option, may suit better, and it can be combined with XProtect.

SSAIB certified CCTV installers
Our CCTV installations, including video management software, are carried out under our SSAIB certification, which covers CCTV (visual surveillance systems), intruder alarms and access control. We also service, maintain and take over systems installed by other companies, with a 24-hour manned service line and a 24-hour emergency technician call-out, 365 days a year.
